<p>A process for removing emulsified oil and grease from used degreasing solutions from a degreasing installation comprises the following steps: (a) heating the used degreasing solution to temperatures in the range of 80° to 100°, (16) cooling the hot degreasing solution, (c) filtering the cold degreasing solution through a finer filter (50) to remove oil and grease, (d) adjusting the residual solution so obtained until a degreasing solution of the desired composition is obtained, and (e) returning the purified and adjusted degreasing solution to the degreasing installation. A device for carrying out this process is also described.</p> |
