The invention relates to a heat exchanger with parallel pipes (2) cast in heat-conducting material (3) and the cast-in direction changers (4) necessary for a compact construction. Each heat exchange module (1) forms a complete heat exchanger in itself, and in a series connection all types of heat transfer processes can be carried out, and any amount of heat in any desired mass current can be transferred. By means of the full, free pipe cross-section and without any installed components, the contamination danger is reduced to a minimum, it being possible for a screwed or flanged model to be taken apart and cleaned. The heat exchange modules (1) can be used universally and in large numbers in energy, process, foodstuff and housing technology as well as in the medical field and permit sensible or economical use of energy. <IMAGE> |
