<p>A hydrophilic porous membrane useful as plasma-separating hydrophilic membrane, a process for its production, and a plasma-separating apparatus containing this membrane in housing are disclosed. The membrane comprises a hydrophobic porous membrane containing a hydrophobic polymer, -(X)m-, as base material having at least on the surface thereof hydrophilic polymer, -(Y)n-, grafted to the base material, with the molar ratio of monomer units Y to monomer units X (Y/X) on the membrane surface being 0.2 to 2.0 and weight ratio of -(Y)n-/-(X)m- in the total membrane being 0.03 to 0.3.</p> |
