The invention relates to an antireversion agent and to a vulcanisation system comprising sulphur, optionally a sulphur donor, a sulphenamide accelerator, a compound containing a nitrothiophenyl radical (the antireversion agent) and optionally a conventional additional accelerator, and to a vulcanisable rubber mixture comprising natural and/or synthetic rubber, the above-described vulcanisation system and conventional additives; the invention furthermore relates to a process for the vulcanisation of this rubber mixture.
