PURPOSE:To enable production of a superconducting magnetic coil which has the configuration, which can not be produced by conventional process, by superposing strip members comprising each material of oxide superconductors each other. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic coil of oxide superconductor is produced which is expressed by the general formula A-B-Cu-O (where, A represents group IIIa metal elements of the periodic table comprising Y, Sc, La, Ce, Yb, Er, Ho, Dy and the like, while B represents group IIa metal elements of the periodic table comprising Ba, Sr and the like). That is, a plurality of tapes 4-6 are selected in a combination which includes all of A element, B element, Cu and O, and each of the tapes is coated with an oxide layer, the resulted tapes are thereafter superposed each other. Moreover, the superposed tape structures are inserted into the respective grooves in a substrate 1 which has the grooves of circuit pattern with the same shape as the desired superconducting circuit, heat treatment is thereafter performed. As a result, a superconducting magnetic coil is produced easily which surpasses the superconducting magnetic coil produced by conventional process in both superconductive characteristic and mechanical strength. |
