摘要 PURPOSE: To provide an electric energy accumulating device, which has a large accumulating capacity and is quickly dischargeable with an optional polarity by providing two electrodes containing as activating materials an organic compound which is made conductive by chemical or electrochemical oxidation or reduction as structural components. CONSTITUTION: An activating material is formed of at least two organic materials, made conductive by chemical or electrochemical oxidation or reduction, for example, a charge moving salt or naturally conductive polymer. Examples of the naturally conductive polymer include polyacetylene and a polymer having a conjugatedπelectron with a 5-membered and a 6-membered heterocyclic group having nitrogen atom, oxygen atom or sulfur as a hetero- atom. This material, capable of being made conductive, is used as activating materials for both electrodes, whereby a reversible accumulating device having a relatively high accumulating energy can be provided.
