The spraying unit includes a large tank (1) for water or other carrier fluid which is connected (2) to a pressure pump (3), and then on to a mixing chamber, (4). This chamber is in turn connected to a spray ramp (5) with mouthpieces (6). A sensor (7) monitors the sprayer movement speed via one of its wheels (H), and its signals are transmitted (8) to a micro-processor (9) contg.. other data covering the mixt. required concn. - The micro-processor is connected (10) to a motor (11) driving a controlled feed pump (12). From the pump suction and pressure sides is connected a conduit (13) which divides into two further conduits (14,15) the first of which passes via a check valve (16) to the conduit connecting the water tank to the pressure pump. The second of the two conduits extends via a check valve (17) to a pressure tank (18) in which an exchangeable container (19) for herbicide/pesticide is positioned. Pressure on the container causes the chemical prepn. inside it to be discharged. |
