To facilitate the opening of a packing container, a separable tear-open portion (10) is fitted to one wall (2) and a tab is attached to the start portion (15). In order to allow gases to escape from the contents, the part forming the handle strip (25) (20, 20', 20'') has also been designed to act as a pressure relief valve. The handle-strip/pressure-relief valve consists preferably of a plastic strip which is glued to the start portion (15) of the tear-open portion (10) and serves as a valve channel (24) via an opening (16, 27) in the container wall (4). |
