PURPOSE:To obtain a cosmetic for hair restoration and hair growth continuously usable without strong irritation, having excellent effects, containing an active ingredient extracted from a crude drug of Grifola umbellata (Pers.) Pilat, Poria cocos (Schw.) Wolf or Akebia quinata (Thunb.) Decne with a water-insoluble organic solvent or a hydrous solvent thereof. CONSTITUTION:100g crude drug of Grifola umbellata (Pers.) Pilat, Poria cocos (Schw.) Wolf or Akebia quinata (Thunb.) Decne is extracted with 1l organic solvent such as primary alcohol (e.g. methanol or butanol), acetone, THF or dioxane alone or hydrous organic solvent containing >=50wt.% the organic solvent for 2hr each time 3 times, the extracted essence is put together, filtered by suction and concentrated under reduced pressure to give viscous essence of crude drug. 0.5-5.0wt.% of the essence as an active ingredient is directly added to a base or dissolved or dispersed in a proper solvent and diluted and added as the active ingredient to the base. |
