In a container (16) for ingredients of bread a rotary vane (19) is disposed on the bottom of the container and a fixed rod (49) is removably inserted in the container through a hole made in its side panel. The fixed rod extends a little above the circle of rotation of the rotary vane toward its rotary shaft. By the rotation of the rotary vane the ingredients of bread are kneaded into dough, which is further kneaded while being twined and twisted around the fixed rod.
