发明名称 PRODUCTION OF OXIDE BASED SUPERCONDUCTING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a superconducting material capable of producing superconducting products having excellent superconducting characteristics, by coating the surface of each particle containing copper on the surface layer side with one of specific two kinds of element oxides through a coating layer of the other and firing the resultant composite material. CONSTITUTION:The surface of each copper particle 1 in copper powder is coated with an oxide of a group IIA element, such as Ba, Sr or Ca, of the periodic table to form the first coating layer 2. Pure metallic copper or alloy thereof, or a copper layer formed on the surface of a carrier, such as metal or ceramics, is used as the copper particle 1. The surface of the first coating layer 2 is then coated with an oxide of a group IIIA element, such as Y, Sc or La, of the periodic table to form the second coating layer 3 and provide a composite material 4, which is subsequently fired in oxygen atmosphere to initiate chemical reaction therein. Thereby the copper, group IIA element of the periodic table, group IIIA element of the periodic table and oxygen are chemically bonded to afford superconducting particles, which are aggregated to afford a powdery superconducting material. Alternatively, the obtained powder is subjected to pressing treatment to provide a superconducting material of a given shape.
