<p>An air suction, or vacuum, lifter for moving goods in non-rigid packaging such as sacks or the like; it consists of two air suction compartments (1, 2), the smaller (1) of which is contained within the larger (2) one. Such chambers (1, 2) are open on the side which comes into contact with the package to be lifted and the lower edges of their side walls (3, 4) are equipped with air-tight seal means (5, 6) with the surface of said packages. Means are provided for connecting, directly or indirectly, the air chambers (1, 2) with a source of vacuum (13) and if necessary with each other (12).</p> |
