A device for the hinged connection of body parts (22), primarily the boot lid, on motor vehicles, in particular private passenger vehicles, whereby the body part (22) is pivotably connected to the motor vehicle body by means of hinge straps (27) acted upon by torsion bar springs in such a way that the torsion bar spring (30) itself is used to journal the body part (22) pivotably on the motor vehicle body, characterised in that the torsion bar spring (30) in a known manner simultaneously forms the hinge (36, 51, 48) of the hinge straps (27) on the vehicle side, both ends of said spring being mounted in receptacles (42, 35; 57, 58) of the hinge straps (27) and engaging rotatably in bearings (46, 47, 48) on both sides of the motor vehicle body, and the bearings (46, 47, 48) are forked and are disposed in respective reinforced portions (45) of the vehicle's side walls, and a bearing bush (36) disposed on each side on the part of the torsion bar spring (30) forming the axis of rotation (28) serves on the one hand to mount the torsion bar spring (30) in the receptacles (42; 57) and on the other hand for the subsequent journalling of the assembly unit torsion bar spring (30)/hinge strap (27)/body part (22).</p> |
