PURPOSE:To enhance whiteness and keeping stability by providing a thermosensitive coloring layer which contains as the developer p-hydroxybenzyl benzoate through a primary layer containing oil absorption pigment and specific compound on a support. CONSTITUTION:A primary layer which contains one or more compounds selected from oil absorption pigment, hindered phenol, hindered amine, p-benzyloxybenzyl benzoate, dibenzyl-4,4'-ethylenedioxydibenzoate is formed on a support. A thermosensitive coloring layer which contains as developer p-hydroxybenzyl benzoate is laminated on the primary layer to obtain a thermosensitive recording sheet. The obtained sheet has remarkably whiteness, less deterioration in the whiteness of recording surface as compared with that which does not contain the additive, thereby largely improving the recording quality. |
