PURPOSE:To display an error rate by means of sound properly by providing a monitor section outputting a monitor sound based on an error detection pulse and a monitor control section controlling the monitor section in response to the frequency of an error detection pulse. CONSTITUTION:An error detection section 3 at a receiving side measuring a pulse data sent from a sender side and outputting an error detection pulse at every production of an error pulse, a monitor control section 4 outputting an error detection pulse at every occurrence of the erroneous pulse, a monitor control section 4 outputting prescribed monitor information based on the error detection pulse and a monitor section 5 driving a speaker 1 and a digital display device by the monitor information are provided. An erroneous pulse sound generating circuit 11 suppresses the frequency of the monitor sound when the frequency of the error detection pulse exceeds a prescribed frequency close to the audible band upper limit to keep the frequency within the audible band. Thus, the error rate of the transmission data is informed properly by sound, thereby allowing the operators in charge of the communication installation to recognize the adjusting state of the said installation surely. |
