PURPOSE:To obtain the title paste made from the starch of the devil's-tongue coloring in a light yellow, being soft to the palate, readily seasoning in boiling, by blending fine powder of the starch of devil's-tongue with water, corn starch and lime, adding the blend into a container and steaming with hot water in an oven. CONSTITUTION:3pts.vol. fine powder of the starch of devil's-tongue is sufficiently blended with 100pts.vol. with water, 1pt.vol. corn starch and a small amount of lime, added to a container, put in an oven and steamed by hot water at 80 deg.C for 10 and several hours to give the aimed paste made from the starch of devil's-tongue. |
