PURPOSE:To facilitate the bonding of sound matching layer or the like by leading out a strip common electrode from a side wall of a block located at its end via a common lead and leading out a signal electrode by a printed circuit board provided with a parallel pattern signal lead so as to simplify the constitution around the common electrode. CONSTITUTION:The strip common electrode 14 fixed in bridging over blocks 11y1-11y3 of an ultrasonic wave vibrator forming an ultrasonic wave vibrator 11 by 2-dimensional arrangement on the X-Y plane and being split in the direction Y is led out of the side wall of the blocks 11y1, 11y3 located at the end in the direction Y through common leads 20y1, 20y2. Moreover, printed circuit boards 16y1-16y3 provided with a parallel pattern of signal lead 17 having the same pitch as the pitch of the ultrasonic vibrators in the X direction are led out by arranging the boards nearly perpendicularly to the signal electrode and symmetrically in terms of horizontal direction. Thus, the constitution around the common electrode is simplified and the location of the matching layer is facilitated. |
