PURPOSE:To realize correspondence to machines having different CPU clocks by using the same diagnosing system, by deciding the CPU clock of the machine by measuring the number of times of execution of a loop instruction in a prescribed time set by a timer, and executing diagnosis after selecting automatically an item to be diagnosed. CONSTITUTION:The CPU clock of the machine is decided by measuring the number of times of execution of the loop instruction for the prescribed time set by the timer, and the diagnosis is executed after performing the automatic selection of the item to be diagnosed. In other words, the class of the machine is decided and the automatic selection of the item to be diagnosed by measuring the number of times of execution of the loop instruction for the prescribed time for the machines having different CPU clocks by the same diagnosing system. In such a way, it is possible to realize the cost down of a product by making the preparation of plural kinds of diagnosing systems unnecessary, and also, a user can perform an operation without being conscious of the CPU clock. |
