PURPOSE:To improve the color developing property of a sensitive material by forming a hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. a specified organosilane compd. in combination with a dye forming coupler on a support. CONSTITUTION:At least one hydrophilic colloidal layer contg. an organosilane compd. in combination with a dye forming coupler is formed on a support. The organosilane compd. is a compd. in which one or two aryloxy or heterocyclic oxy groups bond to an Si atom in a direct way or through a cycloalkylene group, a group contg. cycloalkylene, etc., and bond further to a substd. aryl or heterocyclic group in a direct way or through a combining group. The substd. group has been substd. by an acyloxy or acyloxyalkoxy group in a direct way or through a cycloalkylene group, a group contg. cycloalkylene, etc. The organosilane compd. is not hydrolyzed in an alkali medium. The color developing property of the resulting sensitive material is thus improved. |
