PURPOSE: To shorten the time period required for construction by providing a rod guide hole for guiding penetration of a filling drill rod and a boring machine support means in a bulkhead which is rotated together with a cutter head at a front portion of a shield body, thereby enabling selection of a direction to fill an improving material, due to the rotation of the bulkhead. CONSTITUTION: A bulkhead 23 which is rotated together with a cutter head 24 at a front portion of a shield body 15 of a shield machine has a drill rod guide hole 38 formed therein, for a filling drill rod 14. Further, there is provided a boring machine 9 which has a rod 14 on a boring machine supporting stand 33 which is arranged on the bulkhead 23 in a manner protruding toward the interior of the shield machine, and rotates the rod 14 by a hydraulic motor and a hydraulic jack. By the rotation of the bulkhead 23, the boring machine 9 and the guide hole 38 are sequentially changed about a shielding center (o) through 360 degrees. Thus, a direction of filling an improving material can be freely selected conforming to the range of an improvement object, and therefore soil improvement works conforming to the range of the improvement object can be realized. |
