PURPOSE:To impart printing resistance and ink repellency in a non-image part to a titled plate by subjecting a silicone layer which is provided on a base for printing plates and has the ink repellency and a photosensitive resin layer which is provided on a supporting film to thermocompression bonding. CONSTITUTION:This original plate is formed by the thermocompression bonding of the silicone layer 2 which is provided on the base 1 for printing plates and has the ink repellency and the photosensitive resin layer 3 which is provided on the supporting film 4. The printing plate is obtd. by stripping the supporting film 4, bringing an original film 7 into tight contact with the photosensitive resin layer, subjecting the layer to image exposing and developing the same to remove the photosensitive resin layer in the non-image part. A cover film 5 is further provided on the photosensitive resin layer 3 provided on the film 4. The thermocompression bonding is executed after the cover film 5 is stripped. Since the silicone layer 2 and the photosensitive resin layer 3 are thermocompression-bonded, these layers are securely bonded. Separate handling of the base 1 for printing plates on which the silicone layer 2 is formed and the film 4 on which the photosensitive resin layer 3 is provided is also possible. |
