PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of an optical card and the exfoliation and crack of a recording film by laminating an org. underlying layer, recording film, org. adhesive layer, and transparent protective org. sheet in this order on a metallic substrate in such a manner that the card thickness attains 0.75+ or -0.08mm and specifying the thickness of the metallic substrate to a 0.01-0.4mm range. CONSTITUTION:This optical card has the 5-layered structure successively laminated with the org. underlying layer 2, the recording film 3, the org. adhesive layer 5, and the transparent protective org. sheet 6 on the metallic substrate 1. Deformed build-up parts 4 called as bubbles are formed on the recording 3 when a laser beam for recording is projected to the card from the transparent protective org. sheet 6 side, by which recording is executed. since the metallic substrate having 0.01-0.4mm thickness is used as the substrate 1, the card is strong to the mechanical deformation and as a result, the defect that the recording film exfoliates and cracks is eliminated. The degradation in sensitivity stemming from the high thermal conductivity of the substrate 1 is obviated by using the org. underlying layer 2. |
