<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, whose varistor voltage at the time of applying a surge voltage and nonlinearity coefficient are less deteriorative by making the composition contain in certain quantities one or more kinds among Nb2O5, WO3, La2O3, CeO2, Nd2O3, Pr6O11, Y2O3, Eu2O3, Sm2O3, and SiO2, and one or more kinds among Li2O, K2O, Cs2O, Rb2O, with respect to SrTiO3. CONSTITUTION:A composition, wherein at least one kind of metal oxides in quantities of 0.005 to 5.0pts.wt. selected from among a group of Nb2O5, WO3, La2O3, CeO2, Nd2O3, Pr6O11, Y2O3, Eu2O3, and Sm2O3, and at least one kind of metal oxides in quantities of 0.005 to 2.5pts.wt. selected from among a group of Li2O, K2O, Cs2O, and Rb2O based on SrTiO3 as 100pts.wt. are contained, is used. Or, a substance containing at least one kind of metal oxides in quantities of 0.01 to 5.0pts.wt. selected from among a group of CoO, Cr2O3, NiO, Fe2O3, Sb2O3, Bi2O3, MnO, and Al2O3, in addition to the above-mentioned composition, is used.</p> |
