PURPOSE:To improve the access time and the reliability in a store-in system by writing the replacement data into another address when an error of said replacement data read out of a cache memory is detected. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk control part 1 decides the presence or absence of a chache hit based on the data replacement instruction given from a CPU 3. If the replacement data is included in a cache memory part 2 at the time of a cache hit, the data is immediately read out of a memory part 21. When an error of said data is detected by an ECC/memory control part 22, the part 1 gives a request to the CPU 3 for rewrite of the data to be replaced. This data is written into another address of the part 21 via the CPU 3. In such a constitution, the written data to be replaced is immediately read out for improvement of the access time. Furthermore the data to be replaced which is written in a defective area of the memory part is rewritten into another nondefective area. Thus the reliability is improved in a store-in system. |
