PURPOSE:To establish the oscillator having high stability over wide temperature range, by constituting the oscillator with a semiconductor oscillation element and hybrid circuit having four branch microstrip lines on the dielectric board and two dielectric substance resonators. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor oscillation element 9 is instlled in connection with the micro strip line muSt 12 connected to the branch terminal P1 of the hybrid circuit 11 on the dielectric substance board 10. At the part apart from the element 9 by electric angle of pi/2 and the part apart from the opening end of muSt 15 connected to the branch terminal P2 of the circuit 11 by electric angle pi/2, the dielectric resonators 18, 19 of TE mode of short cylindrical shape are located so that they are in magnetic field coupling with the muSt 12, 15. The output is picked up from one end 22 of the muSt 13. By adjusting the position of the resonator 18 and the distance of the resonator 18 of the metal plate 20, the oscillation output and the frequency are set, and the oscillation frequency is determined by drawing in it to the resonant frequency of the resonator 19. The dispersion in the characteristic of the element 9 is absorbed with the resonator 19 and the stabilization is made in two steps, allowing to obtain high stability with broad temperature range. |
