PURPOSE:To obtain a dermal agent for external use, containing fucoidan extracted from sporophylls of WAKAME seaweeds as an active ingredient, capable of keeping the skin in a soft state regardless of humidity, having excellent touch, protecting the skin from ultraviolet rays, wind, low temperatures, detergents, etc., and keeping the skin in a normal state. CONSTITUTION:A dermal agent for external use containing 0.1-0.8% fucoidan which is sulfate of polysaccharides contained in a large amount is sporophylls of brown algae, especially WAKAME seaweeds and obtained by extracting the fucoidan with water or a water-soluble solvent. Only the fucoidan or a mixture thereof with sodium alginate may be used. The above-mentioned dermal agent for external use can also be used together with an emollient, humectant, active ingredients, etc. The agent may be any of forms, such as cream, milky lotion or lotion. |
