A horizontal synchronizing circuit for a television receiver. A horizontal AFC circuit divides the output of a voltage controlled oscillator generating a higher frequency than the horizontal frequency, compares the phases of the divided frequency with the phase of the horizontal synchronizing signal, and controls the oscillation frequency of the oscillator in response to the compared output. A horizontal APC circuit compares the phases of the divided output and a horizontal flyback pulse, controls the phase of the divided output in response to the compared output and drives the horizontal deflecting circuit with the phase controlled divided output. Thus, various pulses for control and gate operations can be formed by combining the various outputs having different frequencies from the frequency divider. |
