<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operation stability and the ability of making a small sharp turn by connecting main and subsidiary steering wheels by a steering transmitter, turning the subsidiary steering wheels in the same phase when the steering of the main steering wheel is small and turning same in the opposite phase when it is large. CONSTITUTION:A front side intermediate arm 12 is turned through a steering shaft 18, a pinion 20, and a rack 22 by rotation of a handle 4. Whereupon, front wheels 6, 6 are turned through front wheel tie rods 10, 10 and the first steering transmitter 30-1 is pushed onward or interlocked to turn an arcuate gear 34, so that a rotary gear 36 is rotated. The second steering transmitter 30-2 is pushed onward or retreated according to the rotational phase of the rotary gear 30. Accordingly, rear wheels 8, 8 are turned in the same phase in case of pushing onward (small steering) and turned in the opposite phase in case of retreating (large steering) through rear wheel tie rods 24, 24. Thus, the operation stability and the ability of making a small sharp turn can be improved.</p> |
