PURPOSE:To attain high density reading by integrally rotating a deflection mirror and a condenser lens in a coaxial direction with a central axis through the use of a spinner, main-scanning excitation light on an accumulative phosphor sheed, and focusing the excitation light at a small spot with a lens with a short focal length as a condenser lens. CONSTITUTION:A spinner 21 continuously rotates, at high speed, a deflection mirror 22, which is equipped with a reflecting surface 22a with a tilt of 45 deg. for an incident laser light 10, in arrow B direction by a spindle motor 22A. The laser light 10 is reflected and deflected by the spinner 21, and repeatedly main-scans on an accumulative phosphor sheet 2 in the arrow B direction. Since a sheet holding means 1 moves at a constant speed in an arrow A direction, the laser light scans on the sub-scanned accumulative phosphor sheet 2 two-dimentionally. By using the lens with the short focal length as a condenser lens 23, the excitation light is focused at an extremely small spot diameter. Thus, the high density reading of the accumulative phosphor sheet can be executed. |
