PURPOSE:To promptly and accurately extract or identify the image of an arbitrary position from the images with a simple device constitution by optically repeating a filtering processing plural times through the use of a template, and extracting the arbitrary position from the image. CONSTITUTION:When the special position of the image is extracted, first, the template of a desired image position to be extracted is prepared. The filtering processing is executed with the aid of a weight coefficient. That is, when the position, which has high correlation with the template, exists in an objective image as the result of the filtering processing, the part brighter than other part (a luminescent point part) appears in the output image. Further, to fix the extracted position, the image-formation scale factor of a spatial sump optical system is changed, and the template preparation and the shift of the image in (x) and (y) directions are repeated. In such a time, the template suitable for the image-formation scale factor in accordance with the change of the image-formation scale factor is used. By shifting an image sensor 4 in the (x) and (y) directions, changing the light quantity of the image projected on the image sensor 4 with an illuminating means, and multiply exposuring the image, a filtering processed image is formed on the image sensor 4. |
