<p>PURPOSE:To improve the stability of traveling a tape by forming turns of the tape under an endless loop state into separate patterns, each per one or a few turns. CONSTITUTION:1st, 2nd and 3rd tape guide roller groups 40, 42 and 44 are disposed substantially in the concentric circular state, and the magnetic tape 20 is guided by the 1st tape guide roller group 40 to make up to two turns, forming the 1st turn 45-1 and the 2nd turns 45-2 in a rectangular shape. Subsequently, the tape 20 is then moved outside them to the 2nd tape guide roller group 42, and guided in the same manner over two turns to form the 3rd turns 45-3 and the 4th turns 45-4 in a rectangular shape. Furthermore, the tape 20 is moved outside them to the 3rd tape guide roller group 44, and guided in the same manner over two turns to form the 5th turns 45-5 and the 6th turns 45-6 in a rectangular shape. By this method, the tape traveling stability can be improved.</p> |
