The invention relates to a mounting for operating instruments for wheel-chairs which comprises a support arm fitted on the wheel-chair and a receptacle for the operating instrument housing. It is the object of the invention to design the mounting for operating instruments in such a way that it no longer obstructs the user of the wheel-chair on climbing-in or climbing-out and ensures free access during climbing-in and climbing-out. The invention resides in the fact that the receptacle for the operating instrument housing is connected to the support arm via a connecting rod and that a gear which ensures parallel adjustment of the receptacle during pivoting of the connecting rod is provided parallel to the connecting rod.
