The invention relates to the fastening of hand levers on the handlebars of lightweight, dismantleable vehicles such as folding bicycles, folding mopeds and wheelchair-bicycles (wheelchair-rickshaws). In order to be able easily to separate hand levers of the rear wheel brake or of the coupling from the handlebars or wheelchair sliding grip, it is proposed to mount the lever fixedly on an adaptor which, for its part, can be fastened, via a quickly releasable connection, on the handlebars or on the wheelchair sliding grip. As a simple constructional configuration, the form of a piece of tube, which can be inserted into the handlebars and can be secured by a bolt suspended in a resilient manner, is proposed for the adaptor.
