In the case of previous, coaxial junction/distributor devices, relatively costly (complex) installation and assembly tasks have until now always had to be carried out if, for example, new consumers are connected or connected consumers wish to receive only one of the available programs, which as a rule are subject to a charge. The object is to create a simpler solution for this. In order to make possible extremely simple and problem-free matching to changed customer wishes, it is provided that the coaxial junction/distributor device comprises a cable connection unit (101) and a complete apparatus (109) which is constructed such that it is isolated from said unit via an interface (107) and can preferably be connected via plug connections on the cable connection side (101). The cable connection unit (101) is connected on the consumer side to a plurality of coaxial cables (106) leading to the respective consumer. The complete apparatus (109) can be equipped in accordance with the consumer structure. Problem-free matching is possible by replacing the complete apparatus. The coaxial junction/distributor device is especially suitable for broadband (wideband) communications networks. <IMAGE>
