NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by the formula (n is 1-3; at least one of R1-R3 is >=3C perfluoroalkyl; R is hydrocarbon group). EXAMPLE:p-Toluenesulfonic acid pentadecaoctyl amine salt. USE:A lubricating agent. When the above-mentioned compound is used as the lubricating agent in magnetic recording media such as magnetic tape or magnetic disc, traveling properties of the media as well as endurance of the media are improved. PREPARATION:Sulfonic acid and perfluoroalkylamine are used as raw materials and the sulfonic acid is reacted with the perfluoroalkylamine and resultant reaction product is recrystallized from a mixed solvent of Freon and petroleum ether to provide the aimed compound expressed by the formula.
