摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To reduce the length of frames, to protect the pivotally fitted parts of front-wheel supporting arms, and to improve steering controllability by connecting the lower end parts of the extension of upper rails to the bracket upper surface of the front end parts of lower rails, and by pivotally fitting the base parts of front wheel supporting arms inside the opening to the sides of brackets. CONSTITUTION: A bracket 33 is welded to the front end upper surface of lower rails 14, and front extension parts 13a extending downward from the front end of upper rails 13 are welded to the upper surface 35, and collars 32 of the base ends of lower arms 26 are inserted and pivotally fitted to the inside of side opening parts 36. Therefore, the pivotally fitting parts of the lower arms 26 can be positioned in the front end parts of frames 11, so that the overall length of the frame 11 can be reduced without shortening the wheel base. Further, lower rails 14 are interposed between the pivotally fitting parts of the lower arms 26 and a load surface, so that the pivotally fitting parts can be protected from the projections of the road surface. Furthermore, the lower arms can be secured longer as much as the amount the pivotally fitting parts are driven into the inside of the vehicle body for improving the maneuverability.</p>
