Coin unit (10) of a coin-operated gaming machine, in which the coin output of the coin magazine (11) has an oblique bottom (17) which merges into a deflecting plate (18). The coins to be ejected are guided into a coin-output slot (22), and the coin-output orifices (25) are covered by a movable stop flap (20). The deflecting plate (18) has a protrusion (19) projecting obliquely downwards so as to point into the coin-output slot (22). The protrusion (19) projects with a slight curvature into the coin-output slot (22). The movable stop flap (20) consists of non-magnetic material, preferably of a brass plate. <IMAGE>
