The invention relates to a device for the laser treatment, in particular for radial keratotomy of the eye with a treatment laser whose focussed beam guides a scanning device over the eye region to be treated. For this, there is provided an axially displaceable lens group which is controlled by a control unit in the axial direction in a manner corresponding to the movement of the scanning device. This device can be subsequently fitted as an accessory to already existing surgical microscopes and guided into the beam path by pivoting.
