The modular furniture comprises two work stations each including at least two horizontal panels (11,9) forming two working tables. A single integral vertical panel separates the first table of the work station from the first working table of the second work staion and also separates the other two working tables. - An additional vertical panel (4) supports an end of a working table of each work station. Panels form a document storage unit supported are at least one of the vertical panels. Several panels are formed with one or more slots and are assembled with one another by cooperating slots and ridges.
