<p>The components (C) are stored one-behind the other in an inclined track (16). A conveyor belt (30) receives components issuing from the track (16) and conveys them to a collection point (14). Gating means is operable to retain the components in the track and release then one-at-a-time. The gating means comprises a stop (62) movable into and out of an operative position in which a leading component (C1) in the track (16) engages the stop, and a clamping member (74) movable into and out of an operative position in which it clamps a following component (C2) against movement when the stop (62) releases the leading component.</p> |
