<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the waste heat, to improve the thermal efficiency of the whole furnace equipment, to miniaturize the devices, and to cut down the cost by providing a waste heat recovery part for recovering the waste heat of the furnace as the heat source for regenerating a moisture absorbent. CONSTITUTION:The feed air to be sent to a melting furnace 1 is dehumidified by a dehumidifying part 2a contg. the solid moisture absorbent 2A in the dehumidifier. In the exhaust gas passage 6 extending from the melting furnace 1 to a bag filter 5, a heat exchanger 3A as the waste heat recovery part is provided on the downstream side of a CO combustor 7 and a recuperator 8 wherein heat is exchanged between the exhaust gas and the dehumidified feed air of a feed air passage 4 to preheat the heat air. An air quantity adjusting damper 3b is controlled by a temp. controller based on the temp. of the exhaust gas leaving the heat exchanger 3A detected by a temp. detector 3a, and the quantity of the air to be sent to the heat exchanger 3A is adjusted. A hot air quantity adjusting damper 3e is controlled by a humidity controller 3f based on the humidity of the dehumidified feed air detected by a temp. detector 3d, and the quantity of the hot air to be sent to a regeneration part 2b is adjusted.</p> |
