PURPOSE:To obtain a separating membrane having superior chlorine resistance and selective permeability by mixing an arom. diamine compd. having a diphenylsulfone unit with a heterocyclic diamine compd. contg. tert. nitrogen in the ring and by using the mixture as a diamine component. CONSTITUTION:An arom. diamine compd. represented by general formula A such as 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone is mixed with an N-contg. heterocyclic diamine compd. represented by formula B such as 2,6-diaminopyridine in 95/5-50/50 molar ratio. The mixture is dissolved in a solvent such as N- methylpyrrolidone, an acid component such as isophthalic acid chloride is added and soln. polymn. is carried out to obtain arom. copolyamide. This polymer is dissolved in a solvent such as N,N'-dimethylacetamide and a glass plate is coated with the resulting soln. and immersed in a bad solvent such as water to obtain an asymmetric membrane. |
