PURPOSE: To support both a handshake and a loop-back systems by a single data sound multiplexer by further selectively modulating a carrier signal with a notification signal. CONSTITUTION: This multiplexer is equipped with a frequency modulating device which is fed with electricity by data so as to give a frequency-modulated signal having its frequency modulated according to a data signal, and a frequency modulating device and a handshake modulating device which further modulates the frequency-modulated signal according to a handshake signal for giving a transmit signal. Further, the multiplexer is equipped with a handshake demodulating device which is coupled with a telephone signal carrier so as to restores the handshake signal by demodulating a telephone signal carrier and a transmit signal coupled with the handshake modulating device and a frequency modulating device which is coupled with the telephone signal carrier so as to restore a data signal by demodulating the transmit signal. Consequently, the integrated data sound multiplexer is actualized which can support both the handshake and loop-back protocol systems at the same time. |
