PURPOSE:To obtain a low density (lightweight) laminate excellent in non- flammability by a method wherein surfacing material or reinforcing material and surfacing material are laminated under the coexistence of specified compound to an open cell foam, which is impregnated with polyisocyanate compound, and finally hardened and formed. CONSTITUTION:Surfacing material or reinforcing material and surfacing material are laminated in the presence of compound, which accelerates the trimerization reaction of isocyanate group, to an open cell foam, which is impregnated with polyisocyanate compound, and then hardened and formed. As the open cell foam, flexible urethane foam and the like are exampled. As the polyisocyanate compound, hexamethylene-diisocyanate, isophoro-diisocyanate or the like is used singly or in the form of the mixture of two or more of them. As the compound accelerating the, trimerization reaction of isocyanate group, metal salt of aliphatic acid such as cobalt naphthenate, lead octoate and the like are exampled and used singly or in the form of the mixture of two or more or them. Further, as the reinforcing material, glass fiber and the like are exampled. As the surfacing material, various fabrics and laminates of said fabrics and flexible foam are exampled. |
