PURPOSE:To reduce an over-head by removing the command of a branching direction from a main storage according to an absolute address obtained by a branching command interpreting processing part. CONSTITUTION:When the command added from a reading part 31 is judged as the branching command, a judging part 32 adds an activating instruction to a branching command interpreting processing part 34. The branching command interpreting processing part 34 removes a relative command number, which is included to the branching command added from the reading part 31, and adds the head address of the branching command to a value in which the relative command number is multiplied by the size for one command. Thus, the absolute address of the branching direction is obtained and it is added to the reading part 31 as the reading address of the next command. The reading part 31 reads the next command from a main storage 2 according to this branching direction address. Thus, when a channel program is prepared to the main storage 2, an operation system can omit processings to compute the absolute address and to set it and the over-head goes to be small for the omitted part. |
