The settee-bed includes a guide bar (15) which joins a further guide bar (4) and in a folded position is stored inside a hollow back rest (9). The folding bed has four guides which, in an unfolded state, are in line. The first guide bar (5) has rollers (8) and when the unit is unfolded the guides (2, 3) rest on legs (6). The mattress (2) has an extra length (7) which is supported by additional guide (5) and which includes transverse rod (10) with a support bracket (11) on either side.
