For performing passenger-related and/or air-steward-related information, supply, monitoring, entertainment, intercommunication and management functions, respective signals necessary for this are generated digitally and transmitted by way of a data bus system, e.g. in accordance with Patent Application No 8518052, respective data terminals are installed at the passenger seats and, by way of the data bus system, exchange digital signals with a central processing and interface unit or computer, in such a way that computing operations instigated from the terminals are performed by the computer and the relevant results are displayed by means of a terminal-side display panel. |
