PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the extraction of a branch picture element, by tracking an picture element in a constant order according to a vector code, and setting a neighboring picture element tracked later out of two neighboring picture elements which supply logic (1)s successively as a candidate picture element. CONSTITUTION:Six picture elements at maximum neighboring to a remarked picture element P0 are tracked sequentially, and the neighboring picture element P' tracked later out of the two neighboring picture elements P1 and P' which supply the logic (1)s successively is set as the candidate picture element, and the candidate picture element having at least two change points from a background picture element to a graphic picture element in its periphery is extracted as the branch picture element by remarking the candidate picture elements. In such a way, since the picture element whether or not it is the branch picture element can be confirmed by remarking the candidate picture element, it is possible to surely extract the branch picture element even in a complicated two-dimensional picture in which a diagram, etc., is mixed, etc., and to heighten the inspecting accuracy of an appearance inspection device, etc., remarkably by performing the extraction of the feature quantity of the two-dimensional picture and the reproduction of an original picture. |
