PURPOSE:To limit the amount of a damage to a minimum at the time of an unauthorized use by checking prescribed storing information in an IC card and information from a host equipment in the card, transmitting the result to the host equipment and executing a transaction processing. CONSTITUTION:In the non-volatile memory 3 of the IC card 1, plural data for respective items as shown in the drawing is stored. When a user inserts the card 1 into the inserting port of a cash dispenser 7, a contact part 6 is connected to an IC card interface part 9 to execute a communication between the card 1 and the dispenser 7. The data of plural personal identification numbers, the amount of drawing limit money corresponding thereto, a drawing prohibiting period and a recent drawing date and the data of date information, the password number, the amount of drawing money received from the dispenser 7 are inspected in the card 1, the result is transmitted to the dispenser 7 and the data in the memory is updated. In such a way, the transaction is executed. In this transaction, there are difficulties that an unauthorized user does not know the personal identification number but the amount of drawing money is inspected and the drawing prohibiting period is inspected or the like and if the card can be used, a damage is reduced. |
