PURPOSE:To obtain a color image with a high image quality, even developing the silver halide photographic material for a short period, by incorporating an inorg. sulfur in at least one layer of photoconstituting layers, and by composing the one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers of a specified silver halide emulsion having a high chloride content, thereby shortening a development time to <=60sec. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material is formed by incorporating the inorg. sulfur in at least one layer of the photographic constituting layers, and comprising the high chloride contg. silver halide emulsion layer which contains the silver halide particle having >=80mol.% silver chloride. When said material is image-wisely exposed, followed by developing the exposed material with a color developer contg. an aromatic primary amine developing main agent, the development time is shortened to <=60sec. When the high chloride contg. silver halide emulsion incorporated with the inorg. sulfur, is developed for a short time, even through the stirring effect is different, the color image with the high image quality is obtd. without interacting on said effect. |
